A pair of flippers in Vancouver have made a cool $165,000 flipping a downtown condo during the pandemic with a mostly copy-and-paste sales listing.
Student Lola Pearl Quinn and technical recruiter XiuQi Wang bought the condo at 310-933 Seymour Street for $565,000 in October 2020, according to public records1.
A little over six months later, Quinn and Wang listed the property for $681,800 and sold it for $730,000.
The sold price reflects a gain of $165,000 or nearly 30% before fees.
The property was listed on Airbnb as a short-term listing at some point before being sold.
Records also show that the sellers never lived in the property.
The property description in the original listing read: “The double height loft features impressive 15′ ceilings, with plenty of natural light provided by the floor to ceiling windows.
